Well, this is my first GOOD attempt at fic writing. I don't count my first because it was awful and it's taken me years to start again and not have to shudder at the thought of that monstrosity.
Anyhow, I'm slightly pleased with this. I'm surprised it's a Merlin fic and not Supernatural. I just can't bring myself to write for a fandom that already has such great fic writers and stories. I fear that anything I write for it will drown amongst all that awesomeness.

The Golden Globes were so lovely! I predicted 9 of the wins. Really, though it's amazing I even got 1 right. They winners were so unexpected this year!
I so happy Michael C. Hall won! This was his 4th time being nominated for the same role and he finally won! He didn't look to bad, although he was wearing a beanie so I can only assume he lost his hair due to cancer treatments. D: I know his form of cancer is highly treatable, but I still wish him a quick recovery!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was there! He didn't win, but it made me happy just to see him there. :D The fact that he was even nominated pleases me to no end!
I'm still disappointed that The Hurt Locker didn't win. I know Avatar was the movie to beat, (and I haven't even seen it yet) but The Hurt Locker was just too good! It should have won something! Maybe the Oscars? |

So I pretty much had the best dream ever. I usually don't remember them by the time I hit the shower, but this one had Sam and Dean!
So it starts of kind of a like virtual reality. I'm there but I'm just watching. Like I'm watching an episode of Supernatural.
So Sam and Dean are in this abandoned house. Like recently abandoned, because it's not really dirty and dilapidated. It's like people left and never came back. I guess the were investigating something because they have flashlights. Sam mentions that there's a dog there somewhere (how he knows this I don't know) and that the people left it behind. Dean finds the dog in the kitchen. I couldn't tell you what kind of dog because it kept changing. One minute is was a beagle and the next it was a black lab.
Anyway. So right after that the scene changes and they're in the middle of this big futuristic city. With flying cars and people-walkers. Dean is laying down on a people-walker and wearing a hospital gown. He looks like he's hurt and he had his head laying in Sam's lap. Some guy in glasses, who I have know idea who he is is all like "No, you need to rest." I have no idea how badly Dean is hurt but he look sick and like he has broken ribs at the same time. And the dog and Jesse are there too. Because Sam and Dean adopted them both, apparently. And Sam is all like "I'll take care of him."
And suddenly they're in a bed and they fall asleep while cuddling. And Jesse and the dog and the guy are gone. And when they're asleep I can see inside their dreams. I think they were either Dean's dreams or their collective dreams. I'm not sure.
The dreams all went by really fast. It was just like random images, with weird color patterned transitions. But I know it had something to do with Dean having a mental breakdown which was really depressing. Then there was Dean looking back as Sam when he jumped off a building and into the sunset. And Sam raced over to the side crying.
And that's when I woke up. I miss that dream. |

I just got back from Disney World and I've never been happier! It was my first time ever!
Oh my, I love Magic Kingdom! It was perfect and beautiful. The castle was so cute. Yeah, I was super crowded, but I loved it anyway! The rides were so much fun! Space Mountain and Peter Pan's Flight were really fun! The best (thought a show, not a ride) was Tiana's Showboat Jubilee! Tiana and Naveen were the cutest! I saw Peter Pan, but he was walking the opposite direction from me! D: Can you believe they didn't have any Peter Pan things in any of the stores! Sure they had Tinker Bell, but no Peter!
Epcot was fun. I met Mulan and Belle and Beast! Belle looked like Sandra Bullock. XD My mom mentioned it and she was like "Who is this Sandra Bullock? Does she tell stories like me? I'll have to see if me and Beast have any books on Sandra Bullock." I love how in character they are!
Animal Kingdom! I loved Expedition Everest! It was super fun. I've never been backwards on a coaster before. Festival of the Lion King was AMAZING! It was such a good show. Everytime I saw one of the shows I felt like crying with happiness.
Hollywood Studios was great! I met Prince Caspian! He called me a Princess and took my hand like a true gentleman. And the Beauty and the Beast show was so good! It was like a 30-minute Broadway production! Gaston was so funny! The guy even stayed in character when he was taking he bow. It was cute! Voyage of the Little Mermaid was a shorter show, but still really adorable. The girl who played Ariel was so pretty and was a great singer. And the guy who played Eric sounded just like the guy from the movie. It was crazy!
Although I was excited to go to Disney World since I had never been before, I was expecting it to be really cheesy. And I expected the people who worked there to be all 'whatever'. But it wasn't like that at all. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice, eager to help, and incredibly dedicated to whatever they were doing. It was very impressive. You really don't have to be a kid to appreciate it. The whole experience really is of the highest quality. |

*sigh* Most girls my age are quite boring. I don't think I've met very many (aside from those I call friends) that have anything unique about them. They all pretty much like the same things and act the same way. I don't know. I'm just annoyed by it all.
I mean, what fascinates me most about people is how we have the potential to be different. Like when you go on someone's facebook and you see that they like something that not many people like. Or do something that not many people do. I find that interesting. And I feel like I learned something special and intimate about them.
But, it's just annoys how every time I learn a little fact about someone. It's always something quite dull. For instance, most girls my age say they love the beach. Sure. The beach is fine. But don't most people love the beach? I mean, I wanted to learn something a bit more interesting about you. Couldn't you tell me you like making pinatas? Or you can play the tuba? Just give me something I haven't heard a million times.
I don't want to know the Jesus is your best friend. Or that you like Taylor Swift. Or that you think Taylor Lautner is hot. Or that you love chocolate. Or that you watch Gossip Girl.
If your going to talk about yourself at least tell something I couldn't deduce after the first 5 minutes. |

They really need to start promoting Supernatural better. D<
I had no idea that they stated playing two episodes on Thursdays.
Really though, there's only so much word of mouth (or internet) can do. I've seen no effort in promoting the show.
Gossip Girl and Smallville are everywhere! But Supernatural gets no advertising what-so-ever!
With such a cult following, they should be selling the heck out of it! Us die hard fans just don't have a power of mass scale advertising like CW does. I've only gotten one person interested in the show since I started watching it. I think I need to do some more prompting...
I know this issue gets addressed a lot, but really, they aren't even trying. |

So Vikki's been bugging me about posting (even though all I want to do is read fanfiction). So I'll annoy her by posting about Supernatural.
So Season 5 starts September 10th which I am really excited about! :D
The Comic-Con panel gave us a lot of information! They were dishing out spoilers and tid-bits like free cookies at Harris Teeter!
Really, It was surprising. They're normally all hush hush about things.
So we've learned:
~ Lucifer is going to be a pretty likeable character
~ Dean takes Castiel to a whore-house! XD
~ Meg and Jess are coming back
~ The brothers WILL be reunited
~ Sam's going to struggle with his addiction to Demon blood (I believe I heard this somewhere but I couldn't find anything in regards to that)
~ Old hunters are coming out of retirement to help with the apocalypse (Ellen and Jo included)
~ The Croatoan virus will be addressed
~ Episode 4 goes 5 years into the future
~ The Colt will come back
And one bit of news that came out recently: Paris Hiltion
I admit. I don't hate her. I love My New BFF.
But these are just two thing that don't go together.
She's only playing herself possessed by a demon so that does give me some relief. This indicates it will and funny episode (much like Tall Tales, BDABR, and Monster Movie). And Eric Kripke assures us it will be great.
I trust him. So I'm not going to light my torch too early. Finger crossed.
Is this the last season? Still no word. It's planned for five season to end the 'chapter'. Doesn't mean a new one can't start. The boys are contracted for six seasons, but Eric is only contracted for five. He say he'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Personally, I don't want them to drag it out unnecessarily. I mean really! Where do you go after the end of the world?
From what I've heard so far I think Season five is gearing up to be a pretty awesome season! |
