They really need to start promoting Supernatural better. D<
I had no idea that they stated playing two episodes on Thursdays.
Really though, there's only so much word of mouth (or internet) can do. I've seen no effort in promoting the show.
Gossip Girl and Smallville are everywhere! But Supernatural gets no advertising what-so-ever!
With such a cult following, they should be selling the heck out of it! Us die hard fans just don't have a power of mass scale advertising like CW does. I've only gotten one person interested in the show since I started watching it. I think I need to do some more prompting...
I know this issue gets addressed a lot, but really, they aren't even trying. |

So Vikki's been bugging me about posting (even though all I want to do is read fanfiction). So I'll annoy her by posting about Supernatural.
So Season 5 starts September 10th which I am really excited about! :D
The Comic-Con panel gave us a lot of information! They were dishing out spoilers and tid-bits like free cookies at Harris Teeter!
Really, It was surprising. They're normally all hush hush about things.
So we've learned:
~ Lucifer is going to be a pretty likeable character
~ Dean takes Castiel to a whore-house! XD
~ Meg and Jess are coming back
~ The brothers WILL be reunited
~ Sam's going to struggle with his addiction to Demon blood (I believe I heard this somewhere but I couldn't find anything in regards to that)
~ Old hunters are coming out of retirement to help with the apocalypse (Ellen and Jo included)
~ The Croatoan virus will be addressed
~ Episode 4 goes 5 years into the future
~ The Colt will come back
And one bit of news that came out recently: Paris Hiltion
I admit. I don't hate her. I love My New BFF.
But these are just two thing that don't go together.
She's only playing herself possessed by a demon so that does give me some relief. This indicates it will and funny episode (much like Tall Tales, BDABR, and Monster Movie). And Eric Kripke assures us it will be great.
I trust him. So I'm not going to light my torch too early. Finger crossed.
Is this the last season? Still no word. It's planned for five season to end the 'chapter'. Doesn't mean a new one can't start. The boys are contracted for six seasons, but Eric is only contracted for five. He say he'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Personally, I don't want them to drag it out unnecessarily. I mean really! Where do you go after the end of the world?
From what I've heard so far I think Season five is gearing up to be a pretty awesome season! |

Milk was amazing. Simply stunning. I was so moved. I cried the whole movie just think about how far the movement has come and yet how far we still have to go. This film portrays quite an amazing piece of history. I'm so deeply proud of what the gay community has done.
Milk is nominated for a few Oscars but isn't really a favorite to win much. Sort of the underdog of the competetion. I hope it wins best original screenplay. And I hope Sean Penn will win best leading actor.

Ok so Narnia's been picked up by Fox and I'm good with that, but I keep thinking about Disney.
Disney dropped it for "budgeting and logistical" reasons. In other words, Prince Caspian didn't make enough money.
That's an understandable reason, but what bugs me is that Disney keeps producing direct-to-dvd shit, and they drop Narnia?
Seriously, am I the only one who finds that weird.
That Disney thinks Space Buddies is a great idea and sticking with Narnia is a bad one?
Narnia's something that will ACTUALLY make them money! Not like 4 bucks.
Seriously, no one is going to buy Space Buddies. EXPECIALLY NOT ON BLU-RAY! Who would waste 25 dollars on some shitty movie (with even shittier special effects if they're are any) about dogs in space?!?!
Space.
Dogs.
What.
The.
Fuck.
Disney's just throwing money out the window even producing it for Blu-ray, much less DVD. And they thought they would lose money on Narnia??!?!
I love Disney I really do. They know how to make a good movie. But lately they haven't been trying. They've just been focusing on Miley and The Jonas Brothers. They haven't been producing anything of qualitity.
I'm about ready to give up. They're stupidity is getting irritating.
Walt is probably turing over in his grave because his company seems to have lost all it's magic. |

Okay, so Fox picked up Narnia now.
I'm having mixed feelings because I'm not sure if I really see their name along side Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
But, nevertheless I'm excited!
Voyage of the Dawn Treader is scheduled to begin filming this summer and is expected to be released 2010, for a Christmas release.

Ok, I know I'm a big dork for talking about Narnia, but this is some what serious. It's not a total dork-rant.
I'm having mixed feeling about the new Narnia movie, Dawn Treader.
On one hand, I'm really excited! I'm starting to get into the series and I'm glad I have something to look forward to (besides Harry Potter).
But, then on the other hand I'm really sad about it. Because William and Anna aren't going to be in it. I like all four of them together. But, they have to stick to the book...
But, then again. This will give Skandar a chance to shine. Since he did NOTHING in Caspian. I don't know what happened, but he really didn't do anything in this movie. Why is everyone saying that his role is expanding or some bull like that. HE was so much more important in LWW.
But, anyway. I don't really know what I'll think of Dawn Treader. I guess I'll have to see it. |

Ok So I just saw Slumdog Millionare. I have to say it was amazing. It was so beautiful. If you get the chance to see it you really should. It's such an amazing movie.
